
Johanna Hoffmann, 80 of Mansfield, died Sunday February 06, 2000 at the Winchester Terrace Nursing Home following an extended illness. Mrs. Hoffmann was born November 16, 1919 being a resident of Mansfield area since 1958. She was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church on Middle Bellville Road. Surviving are one son and daughter in law, Chris and Elis Hoffmann of Mansfield; two daughters and sons in law, Hilda and Matt Mayer of Tamarac, Florida and Charlotte and Carl Weber of Mansfield; ten grandchildren and their spouses, Cindy, David and Heidi, Mike and Tina, Michael and Linda, Tim, Dianna and Phil, Kenneth, April, and Eric; six great grandchildren, Stephanie, Angela, Christine, Morgan, Christa, and Jami. Also surviving are a sister, Karoline Gaubatz of Germany; a daughter in law, Sharon Hoffmann of Denver, Colorado; two sisters in law, Kathrina Reiter and Caroline Hoffmann, both of Mansfield; and a special friend, Katy Jacobs. She was preceded in death by her husband Peter Hoffmann; a son, Friedrich Hoffmann; one grandson, James Mayer; two sisters, Katherina Bitsch and Elizabeth Jahraus; three brothers, Chris, Peter, and Ludwig Reiter; and her parents, Christian and Johanna Hahriech Reiter. Friends may call at the Diamond street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Monday from 7-9 pm. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 am at the Apostolic Christian Church on Middle Bellville Road, conducted by the church. Interment will be in the Mansfield Cemetery.
