John Hazard Tridico, 74, of Mansfield, Ohio passed away at his home on Saturday, May 14, 2022. He was born in Crestline, Ohio on March 24, 1948 to the late Nicholas and Betty Jeanette (Hazard) Tridico.
John married his love, Carol, on July 16, 1985, spending over 40 wonderful years together. They enjoyed each other’s company and shared many special moments full of joy and laughter. In John’s last days, his only concern and what was most important to him, was making sure his beautiful wife would be well taken care of. A lover of sports, he was an avid fan of any Ohio sports teams. He enjoyed watching baseball and playing golf. He leaves behind special memories that were made coaching his own children in sports. John loved his family, especially attending family events and playing golf with his boys. He held a special place in his heart for his dogs, Mollie and Daisy. John retired from Hi-Stat after working many years in maintenance.
John is survived by his wife, Carol (Paramore) Tridico; children, John (Tabby) Tridico, Susan (Jim) Prince, Amanda (Bill) Clawson, Andrew (Kristina) Tridico, Jackie (Rob) Rollison and Wendy White; 18 grandchildren, Chase, Camira, Mitchell, Anna, Gus, George, Jaylah, Jayce, Jaydalyn, Addisyn, Josh, Michelle, Jeff, Noah, Melissa, Jessica, Sami and Jeremy; many great-grandchildren; brother, Nick Tridico; lifelong friend, Don Boebel; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two children, Cyndi Chamberlain and Jill Cole; and granddaughter, Abryella Baker.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 20, 2022 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield, Ohio 44902. A memorial service will follow beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Chad Finley officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Cops N Kids with the Mansfield Police Department, 30 N.
