Joyce Marie Paige “Hunn” went to be with the Lord Sunday evening April 21, 2024. She was 72. She was born Monday, November 5,1951 in Mansfield, Ohio to parents Deluster & Elease (Holton) Paige Sr. She graduated from Mansfield Malabar High School.
Joyce worked at AK Steel for over 23 years where she was an OverHead Crane Operator. Joyce enjoyed shopping and playing Bingo. She always found time for her grandkids: Shaquille, Skylar, Braylon, Zion, Allegrah, Zariah, Jaxon; great grandchildren: Jayceon & Novah, and her family and friends. She was generous of her time helping others and her church family. She was a stranger to no one. She also had a green thumb.
Joyce is survived by her four children, Ron’Rica Paige of Dublin, Ohio, Lucetta (Wesley) Holbert of Columbus, Ohio, Patrice Feagin and Jason Paige both of Mansfield, Ohio; step-sister Roslyne Coopwood; and a host of nieces & nephews and close relatives.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Deluster & Elease (Holton) Paige Sr.; and her two brothers, Theodore “Boosie” Cotton, and Deluster “Pookie” Paige Jr, and one sister, Diane Matthews.
Family and friends may visit from 10:00-11:00 am on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at Wappner Funeral Directors-Mansfield, 98 S. Diamond Street. Pastor Charles Adkins will officiate her going home service following at 11:00 am. She will be laid to rest in Mansfield Cemetery.
