

Joyce Alline Setser, 67, passed away Friday morning, February 10, 2012 at Knox Community Hospital. Born March 18, 1944 in Olive Hill, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Rosa (Brown) Thompson, moving to Mansfield when she was 5 years old.
In 1963, she married Frank Setser and they made their home in the Mansfield area. A Christian woman, she was a member of Dean Road Freewill Baptist Church for 35 years. She was a great wife and mother and enjoyed taking care of her family. Joyce loved to watch the flowers and hummingbirds in her garden and go to garage sales.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Elzie F. Setser; daughter, Ella S. (Mark) Goheen; grandchildren, Frank A. (Christian) Setser, Raymond W. (Ashley) Goheen, Mark “Dustin” Goheen; great-grandchildren, McKenzie L. Hagans, Kyri J. Setser, Janyka A. Goheen, Alanna N. Goheen and Kierra M. Goheen; two sisters, Ann Jones and Georgia Gee; three brothers, Clifford, Jim and Marvin Thompson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Paul, Glen and Harlan Thompson; sister, Lily Fay; and brother-in-law, Guy Sparks.
Friends may visit from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Dean Road Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Clifford Earl Tackett and Rev. Harold Owens officiating. Burial will follow in Bunker Hill Cemetery.
