Judith Reed

Judith 'Judi' A. Brittain Reed, 62, of Mansfield, died Thursday morning, February 24, 2005, at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Born November 2, 1942, she was the daughter of Lester and Gladys Bryant Brittain. A 1960 graduate of Madison High School, Judy was formerly employed at Ohio Brass. She was a life member and Past President of V.F.W. Post #9943 Auxiliary, American Legion Post #16 Auxiliary, Daughters of Herman and Eagles Post #336.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Juanita Reed of Mt. Gilead; stepson, Rick Reed of Oregon; grandson, Brandon Reed; six step grandchildren; eight step great-grandchildren; a niece and her husband, Karen and John Wendling of Mansfield; two nephews, Dick and his wife, Lisa Burggraf, Mike Burggraf, all of Mansfield; several great-nieces and nephews; and special friends, Dan and Mary Reed of Mansfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Thomas Brittain, sister, Patricia Burggraf, and her beloved dog, Oops.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 5, 2005, at 10:30 a.m. at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, conducted by Rev. Rich Rader. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
