Julia 'Judy' L. Hunter, 81, died Thursday, June 6, 2002. She was a long time resident of Mansfield, born in Mt. Blanchard, Ohio. She was very giving to others. Until she was no longer able to, she would write personal notes on every holiday to many shut-in and confined people. She was a long-standing member of First Congregational Church. Julia donated her body to science.
She is survived by two sons, Charles E. Hunter and Steven E. Hunter; grandson, Guy E. Hunter; sister, Jeanne Sherry; and a number of nieces and nephews. Her husband, Dr. Charles E. Hunter, preceded her in death.
Memorial services will be held at a future date. Memorial contributions may be made to First Congregational Church, 640 Millsboro Road, Mansfield, Ohio, 44903. Wappner Funeral Directors assisted the family with arrangements.
