
Karl Scholler, 73, of Mansfield, died Thursday, June 8, 2006, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. Born February 17, 1933, in Mramorak, Yugoslavia, to the late Karl and Katherina Bitsch Scholler. He was employed for 43 years at Taylor Metal where he was press shop foreman. Mr. Scholler was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ. He was also a member of Amvets Post #26, Robert P. Spreng Post, American Legion Post #16 and the Mansfield Liederkranz. He was a veteran of WWII, serving with the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Anna Mayer Scholler; son, Eric Ellouise Scholler; daughter, Anita Jim Baemel; five grandchildren, Morgan, Matthew, Lauren, Samantha and Michelle; two great-grandchildren; sister, Susanna Joe Hoffman; brother-in-law, Matt Hilda Mayer; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 12, 2006, at 12:00 p.m. at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, officiated by Rev. Lon McSherley. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery at a later date.
