Keith Farmer

Keith Wayne Farmer, 72, of Mansfield, died Friday, May 23, 2008 at Highbanks Care Center in Worthington. Born March 25, 1936 in Niles, Ohio to the late Norman and Lillian McFadden Farmer. He was formerly employed as a mainframe computer operator at Gorman Rupp. Keith was an avid Ohio State football fan and NASCAR fan.

He is survived by four children, Cheryl Kevin Ogg of Laurelville, Eric Carrie Farmer of New Lenox, IL, Terri Norris and Stephanie Achevich, both of Columbus; eleven grandchildren, Kevin, Melissa, Timothy and Marilyn, all of Laurelville, Kyle and Emily, both of New Lenox, Jason, Beth, and Bryan of Wilmington, Abigail and Katelyn of Columbus; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Daniel Dorothy Farmer of Niles; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his wife, Judith Farmer; twin sister, Marilyn Gallagher; and his parents.

Friends may call from 3-6 p.m. Monday, May 26 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Christopher Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery with military honors by Richland County Joint Veteran's Burial Detail.
