LaDonna M. Metz Strang, 75, of Mansfield, died Monday, October 2, 2006 at Mifflin Care Center. Born November 29, 1930 in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Roy and Helen Leemaster Metz. Mrs. Strang graduated from Madison High School in 1948. She was an active member of the First Church of the Brethren. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she enjoyed cooking, entertaining, crafts, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Victoria and Dale Morris of Mansfield; one son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Dorinda Strang of Mansfield; five grandchildren, Melissa Jason Hager, Aaron Morris, Adam Heather, Ashlee, and Aimee Strang; and sister, Mildred Quicksall of Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Wayne E. Strang on May 7, 2006; her parents; and brother, Donald Metz.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, October 5, 2006 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the First Church of the Brethren, 889 Grace St., conducted by Pastor Linda Lewis. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of the Brethren.
