Larry was a veteran of the U.S. Marines and retired as an independent insurance salesman. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, collected the memorabilia of his favorite driver, Dale Earnhardt and also followed the career of Dale Jr.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Carol Davis Burton; two sons, Larry (Heather) Burton, Jr. of Mentor and Jim (Linda) Burton of Ontario; two brothers, Dennis (Gay) Burton of NC and Milton (Rhonda) Burton of Mansfield; two sisters-in-law, Lora (Lou) Henningsen of FL and Cristie (Bruce) Fogle of Mansfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. in the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Dennis Burton and Pastor Joe Kunz will conduct the service. Burial will follow in Ontario Cemetery.
