

Leslie T. Workman, Jr., 72, of Mansfield, died Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. Born July 2, 1943 in Cabin Creek, West Virginia, he was the son of Leslie T. Workman, Sr. and Goldie P. (Fields) Workman.
He retired from Peabody after 32 years as a welder. A very generous and caring man, he enjoyed singles dances, swimming and was always tinkering with whatever he could get his hands on.
He is survived by a daughter, Leslyn (Shawn) Perram of Columbus, Ohio; two sons, Leslie T. (Shari) Workman, III and James (Tonya) Workman both of Mansfield; nine grandchildren, Robyn DeLong, Ashley Tolliver, Nikki DeLong, Heaven Workman, Dustin Workman, Joshua Workman, Cody Workman, Travis Workman and Dalton Wilson; 15 great grandchildren; a sister, Dreama Aukerman and her fiance, James Wransky of Mansfield; a brother, Lewis (Mary) Workman of Mansfield; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and good friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dian (Glick) Workman; and two brothers, Douglas Workman and Charles Workman.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield conducted by Pastor Robert O'Brian. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Memorial Park. Friends may call one hour prior to the services, from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home on Tuesday.
