

Letha Jean Cooley, 59, of Mansfield, Ohio passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2016, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Olive Hill, Kentucky to Hearl and Betty Jean (Stevens) Clay on November 16, 1956.
Letha was a very thoughtful, considerate, and generous person. She was funny, caring, soft hearted, and will always be remembered for her beautiful smile. Letha was very family oriented. She loved spending time being with her family, and she loved her husband with all her heart. Letha was an extraordinary mother, grandmother, and sister. She loved to be pampered, and she was an excellent cook. In addition, Letha was a member of Dean Road Freewill Baptist Church.
Letha is survived by her daughters, Leslie Robinett of Shiloh, and Jamie Cooley of Ontario; six grandchildren, Tori, Natalie, Whitley, Gage, Piper, and Colt; two sisters, Stella (Tony) Finnegan of Shiloh, and Rhonda (Dan) Kelly of Morehead, Kentucky; one brother, Steve Clay of Mansfield; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Letha was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Cooley; and her parents, Hearl and Betty Jean (Stevens) Clay.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington Springmill, Ontario. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 19, 2016 at 10:00 am, also at the Ontario Home. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio.
