Born on September 23, 1938, in Bruin, Kentucky, Lillie was the daughter of the late Thomas and Lucill (Porter) Tackett. She lived a life rooted in love, family, and simple joys. Lillie had a deep appreciation for nature and beauty—she loved tending to her flowers and garden, sewing, and spending quiet moments on her front porch with a cup of coffee. She especially cherished quilting sessions with her sisters and sisters-in-law, creating both heirlooms and memories.
Lillie was a devoted mother and grandmother whose life revolved around the warmth of family. She is survived by her children, Albert (Carolyn) Leitenberger, Jr., Brenda (Gary) Eberts, Catherine (Phillip) Pratt, and Edward (Rebecca) Leitenberger; her beloved grandchildren, Belinda, Leslie, Kenton, Shane, Austin, Nicholas, Kayla, Alicia, Kaylyn, Breanna, Emma, and Lily; seventeen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Barbara Lehr, Freida Utley, Alice (Mike) Feilon, James (Deb) Tackett, Lowell (Connie) Tackett, and Robert (Ruth) Tackett.
Lillie was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Leitenberger, Sr.; her parents; her sister, Ruby Barker; her brothers, Roy Tackett and John Tackett; and her granddaughter, Patricia Leitenberger.
Friends and family are invited to gather for visitation on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at 98 South Diamond Street, Mansfield, Ohio. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m., after which Lillie will be laid to rest at Shenandoah Cemetery.
