Linda Lou Brooks, 58, passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Triumph Hospital. Born January 5, 1952 in Dallas, Texas, she was the daughter of Nelson Browne and Catherine Forshee Brooks. Linda moved to Mansfield in 1963 and enjoyed being with family, singing, animals, and the outdoors.
She is survived by her daughter, Katie-Lou Brooks of Norwalk; mother, Catherine Brooks of Ashland; sisters, Nancy Carole James Wareham of Powell and Valerie Kay Thomas Mapes of Ashland; seven nephews; and one niece. She was preceded in death by her father and brother, Terry Brooks.
There will be no services or calling hours observed. Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family of Linda Lou Brooks.
