Linda Kay Johnston

Linda enjoyed sitting outside, watching the animals and feeding the squirrels and birds. She enjoyed decorating and collecting angels. Linda enjoyed watching "Pearl Girls" and even had oysters shipped to her so that she could shuck them and have the treasures placed into jewelry.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Robert Johnston; four children, Michael (Mindy) Goad, Linda (Barry) Beugly, Melissa (Brad) Ervin, and Schon Johnston; twelve grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her mother, Hazel Justice Elliott; and three siblings, Glen Elliott, Fay Elliott, and Lowell (Jewel) Elliott. Linda is preceded in death by her father, Ovellon C. Elliott; step son, Michael Wente; two grandchildren, Cassity and Connor Goad; and a brother, Arlin Elliott.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 20, 2017, in the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. The funeral service will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
