Linda Pearl Kennedy, 91, formerly of Mansfield, died Saturday November 30, 2002 in the Ochsner Hospital and Clinic in New Orleans, Louisiana, following a brief illness. Mrs. Kennedy was born July 20, 1911 in Bennington Township, Morrow County, Ohio, residing in the Mansfield area since 1930. In September of 2002 Mrs. Kennedy moved to Destrehan, Louisiana to live with her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Jeanne Kennedy. Mrs. Kennedy was formerly employed at Stephens Manufacturing.
Surviving also are five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, George W. and Emma J. Jenkins Nauman; her husband of 63 years, Julius D. Kennedy; six brothers and three sisters.
Family and friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Friday December 6, 2002 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home conducted by the Rev. Clifford D. Schutjer. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park.
