Linda Kay Montgomery, 75, of Mansfield, Ohio, passed away on February 9, 2026. She was born on November 30, 1950, in Praise, Kentucky to Ossie and Mae (Ratliff) Montgomery. With the family moving to Mansfield when she was a very young child.
Linda attended Madison schools, worked at Therm-O-Disc before marrying and having children, and later worked at Hi-Stat and several care facilities as an STNA. She enjoyed reading, especially pioneer stories, and always looked forward to winter with beautiful snowfalls. She loved her family tremendously and truly delighted in her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Karie (Adam) and Valerie (Kevin), and her five grandchildren: Josiah, Isaiah, Rebekah, Micaiah, and Aliyah. She is also survived by her sisters, Jean Haddox and Kathy Myers, her brother Mike Montgomery, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Rodnie, Charles, David, and Mark.
Linda had been a member of Sunnydale Open Bible Church and had a very giving heart. Although she will be dearly missed, her family takes comfort knowing she is now at rest with her Savior.
The immediate family will hold a small, private memorial at a later date.
