
Lois Klee Marvicsin, 83, of Mansfield, Ohio, died Friday, May 6, 2011 at her residence. Born May 2, 1928 in Rogers City, MI, she was the daughter of Rudolph and Minnie Prell Klee. A homemaker, Lois was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. She loved gardening and tending to her flowers. Lois also enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, and loved the card game, Spitzer.
She is survived by her son, Randy Wenzel of Mansfield; daughters Lisa Wenzel of Mansfield, Sue Bill Erickson of Davison, MI, and Jean Terry Coyne of Rochester Hills, MI; grandchildren, Tim Laura Coyne, Kari Aaron Michael, Steven Kris Erickson, Andrew Erickson, Heather Matt Hobbins, Nick Amanda Wenzel, and Cory Wenzel; great grandchildren, Jon, Dean, Braylon, Jacob, Sarah, Charlie, and a baby boy on the way; several step children, step grandchildren, and step great grandchildren; sisters, Esther Miller of Mansfield and Patricia Bruning of Rogers City, MI; brother, Erv Klee of Westland, MI; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Arnold Wenzel in 1979; second husband, Samuel J. Marvicsin, Sr. in 2011; and two sisters, Dorothy and Joan.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 525 W. Cook Rd., Mansfield, conducted by Dr. Pentti Maki. Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be held Monday, May 16 in Memorial Park Cemetery in Rogers City, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
