

Lyman retired from Ohio Brass after 38 years of service. A loyal and very caring gentleman, he was always there for his family who considered him their Savior. Lyman enjoyed woodworking and wood burning and was a NASCAR and Cleveland Browns fan. He was a member of Mad Grads which consisted of a group of his high school buddies.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Henrietta (Kodak) Norton; a daughter, Vanessa Norton-Hetler of Mansfield; a granddaughter, Breanna Bishop of Mansfield; a brother-in-law, David (Wilma) Kodak of Savannah, Ohio; a niece, Regina Piatt and a nephew, Brian Day both of Ashland; his granddog, Paisley; good friends and neighbors, Harold and Ramona Gilbert and Lois Turner all of Mansfield; and a son from a previous marriage, Kevin Norton.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. Sunday, August 10, 2014 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 11, 2014 at the funeral home conducted by Rev. Harold Gilbert. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family for his granddaughter, Breanna's college fund.
