Mable O'Neal

Mable O'Neal, 65, of Mansfield, died Thursday May 8, 2003 at Sycamore Hospital in Dayton, Ohio following a brief illness. Mrs. O'Neal was born March 27, 1938 in Huntsville, Alabama the daughter of Sam and Minnie Scott. She retired from Gorman Rupp Co. and was a member of Jehovah Witnesses Kingdom Hall.

Surviving are her husband of 46 years, Sam L. O'Neal; two sons, Derek and Donnie O'Neal; two daughters-in-law, Suzanne and Artrena O'Neal; one daughter, Susan O'Neal Kitts; one son-in-law, Brad Kitts; four grandchildren, Tylor, BJ, Ryenn and Joni; five brothers, Robert, AB, Wayman, Sam Jr. and Harold Scott; three sisters, Carrie Scruggs, Marie Stinson and Lucille Edwards; ten sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law; her mother, Minnie Scott; and a host of nieces, nephews and one uncle, Eddie B. Moore. Her father, Sam Scott, preceded her in death.

Friends may call at The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Sunday May 11, 2003 from 5-7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home conducted by Harry Morr. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the World Wide Work of The Jehovah Witnesses.
