Mansfield, Ohio. She was the daughter of Gustav H. and Ann Lou (Rose) Diehm.
Marcia was a 1980 Graduate of Madison High School. Mo was a kind, caring woman who enjoyed taking care of others. She took great pleasure in cooking and baking. Mo and her sisters had an unbreakable bond. From dancing at the AMVETS to working side by side in restaurants, they simply enjoyed one another’s company. Between the three of them once the laughter began, it never stopped. Mo met the love of her life in 1980 and was reunited with him in 1999. Mo and George were married August 7th 2004 and have been inseparable since. From sitting on the porch watching her favorite teams (Browns, Cavs and Indians) to traveling, Mo and George did it all together. Mo loved getting to spend time with her family as a whole, including her children and grandchildren. From attending school functions to acting as a “wookie” chasing the kids around the house, she was always there. She even enjoyed sneaking away to Wayne County Speedway. Mo loved their family dog Grizzly, and spoiled him rotten. Mo was an amazing Wife, Mother, Nanny, and person as a whole. She was loved by everyone she met and never knew a stranger. Mo was selfless, trusting in Jesus for his guidance and strength for every step. Mo not only mastered her roles in the family, she was our Best Friend.
Mo is survived by her husband George Gaskins; two children Seth (Brittany) Coey and Alicia
Powell; five grandchildren Aubrie, Connor, Sloan, Gabriel, and Charlotte; Aunt Elaine Rose;
numerous nieces and nephews; her brother-in-law William Mobley; and many treasured friends.
She was proceeded in death by her parents; Her sisters Barbara Diehm and Kathleen Mobley; her
brothers Paul Diehm, Fred “Gussie” Diehm; her Uncle Fred Rose; her Aunt Phillis Diehm.
Family and friends may visit from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at Wappner Funeral Directors-Mansfield, 98 S. Diamond Street. An additional hour of calling will be held on Monday, June 24, 2024 from 10:00-11:00 am. Funeral services will be begin at 11:00 am with Pastor Micah Pelkey officiating. Mo will be laid to rest at Windsor Park Cemetery in Mansfield. A Life Celebration will follow at Community Bible Church 1043 Springmill Street, Mansfield, OH 44906.
