

Margaret "June" Bellis, 89, formerly of Mansfield, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. Born June 25, 1928 in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of David and Minnie (Kerr) Balfour.
June grew up in Detroit and following high school, worked for Chrysler as a secretary before becoming a stay at home mom. She also briefly worked as a pharmacy technician for Mansfield General. June always had a ready laugh and a twinkle in her eye and everyone thought she was the sweetest lady. She was a member of Birmingham, Michigan Eastern Star and taught Sunday School here at the local Presbyterian Church. June enjoyed landscaping and flowers.
She is survived by three sons, David Bellis of New Albany, Ohio, Daniel Bellis (Christine Smith) of Vermillion, Ohio and Scott (Colleen) Bellis of Hudson, Florida; six grandchildren, Kristen (Alan), Jason, Zachary, Casey, Jonathan and Haley; and one great grandchild, Aryana.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, André "Andy" Bellis.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 12, 2018 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 South Diamond Street, Mansfield. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m., at the funeral home on Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to Riverside Hospice or Mansfield Salvation Army.
