

Marian was born at home in Olive Hill, Kentucky on May 15, 1935 and graduated from high school in 1952. She worked for several years at Geauga Plastics in Crestline, Ohio. She later moved to Englewood, Florida and worked as head chef at Pine Brook Assisted Living Center in Venice, Florida until she retired and returned to Mansfield to be closer to her family.
She is survived by three daughters, Debra Baker and Roberta Baith both of Mansfield, Ohio and Romona (Dave) Thompson of Fort Gay, West Virginia; one son, David Lawhun of Pensacola, Florida; special niece, Pam Noblet of Bellville who was like a daughter; 15 grandchildren, Chad (Tonya) Baker, Jeremy (April) Baker, Dustin Baker all of Mansfield, Ohio, Matthew (Kristal) Baith of Tyler, Texas, Shannon (Tige) Bateson of Columbus, Ohio, William Cutright of Rush, Kentucky, Kara Thompson, Wesley Thompson and Sarah Thompson all of Fort Gaye, West Virginia, Allen (Suehelen) Lawhun of Hawaii, Melissa Lawhun of Lemoore, California and Jennifer (Jean Paul) Gregorie of Fort Worth, Texas; 17 great grandchildren, Bethani, Brayden, Ivan, Zoie, Jeremy Tyler, Matt, Shelby, Devon, Blake, Michael, Caden, Hudson, Matthew, Chandler, Sydney and Avery. She is also survived by four sisters, Ethel Parker of Ashland, Ohio, Maxine Reynolds and Sonja (Hobert) Dean of Olive Hill, Kentucky and Lois (Herbert) Prichard of Engelwood, Florida; one brother, Bobby Joe (Delores) Bond of Bellville, Ohio; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Justin Cutright; Father and Mother Harrison and Mona Dehart Bond; brothers, Edgar, Virgil, Rudolph, Harrison, Jr., Alton, Leroy and Jerry; and sisters, Katherine, Tressie, Isabell and Dessie.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday, September 14, 2012 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield. Additional calling will be held Sunday, September 16, 2012 from 4-6 p.m. at the Oney-Henderson Funeral Home, Olive Hill, Kentucky. Funeral services will be Monday, September 17, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Garvin Ridge Church where additional calling will be held one hour prior to the service. Rev. J.C. Bond will officiate services. Burial will be in the Garvin Ridge Cemetery.
