

Marian Keller Sharrock, age 88, of Mansfield, died Monday, March 15, 2004, at 3:00 a.m. She was born March 16, 1915, in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of the late Edward B. Keller and Edna Reese Keller. She was raised in Mansfield and was a graduate of Mansfield Senior High School.
Mrs. Sharrock was a faithful member of the First English Lutheran Church, having actively served on numerous committees and projects. She was also an enthusiastic member of the Mansfield Women's Club and Liederkranz. Additionally, she was a volunteer at the Kingwood Center and an active Girl Scout leader. She was also a member of the American Association of Retired Persons. Marian loved the Lord, her family, card games and gardening. Her gentle and caring nature made her a perfect Christian role model for all of her loving family and friends. Many, many people who knew her will miss her.
Surviving are two sons, David R. Doris Sharrock of Mansfield and Scott E. Sharrock of Lexington; two daughters, Marjorie Sharrock Koontz Joe Elrod of Mansfield and Beth Sharrock Larry Evans of Dublin; ten grandchildren and their spouses, David E. Shirley Sharrock, Rhonda Troy McElroy, Lisa Larry Miller, Cheri Mark Gaul, Nanci Bob Cover, Jodi Hale, Michael Kathleen Sharrock, Ashley Santee, Matthew Carey Evans, and Phillip Evans; seventeen great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Vera Keller of Fruitland Park, Florida and Dorothy B. Keller of Lexington; and many nieces, nephews, and loyal friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Eldon Sharrock; four brothers, Richard, Donald, Jesse, and Scott Keller; and a sister, Margaret Keller Black.
Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Wednesday, March 17 from 4-7 p.m. and one-hour prior to the service. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m., conducted by Rev. Paul Lintern and Rev. Cloyd Kress. Interment will follow at Mansfield Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First English Lutheran Church or the Mansfield Women's Club.
