Marjorie Muth

Marjorie I. Muth, 89, died Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at Hospice of North Central Ohio in Ashland. Born May 12, 1918 in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of Willis and Margaret Myers Wolf. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Marjorie and her husband owned Muth's Family Restaurant. After retirement, Marjorie and her husband moved to St. Petersburg, Florida where they owned a dress shop. She later worked at Reeds, Kaufman's and Steinmart. Marjorie loved gardening, and baking and cooking for the neighbors and children.

She is survived by two sons, Ronald Susan Muth of Mansfield, and Mike Muth of Ft. Myers, Florida; four grandchildren, Lorie Brian Phillipps, and Steve Muth, all of Warrington, Pennsylvania, Chris Renee Muth of Lititz, Pennsylvania, and Tyler Sally Muth of Bethesda, Maryland; great-grandchildren, Joshua and Sarah Jean Phillipps; and nephew, Bill Muth. She was preceded in death by her husband, W. Dale Muth; parents; and daughter-in-law, Carol Muth.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 5, 2008 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 525 W. Cook Rd., Mansfield 44907, conducted by Dr. Pentti Maki. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Private burial will be held at a later date. Wappner Funeral Directors assisted the family with arrangements.
