Mark Dalton

Mark S. Dalton, 58, of Mansfield, died Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at his home. Born February 5, 1956 in Mansfield, he was the son of Fred and Margaret (Turson) Dalton. Mark was a graduate of Madison High School. He was wild and funny, yet always had a big heart. Mark enjoyed fishing and music, especially playing his acoustic guitar and singing.

He is survived by his son, Matthew (Kelly) Dalton of Valparaiso, Florida, who are expecting his first grandchild; brothers, Bill Dalton of Mansfield, Ron "Hoppy" Dalton of Boynton Beach, FL, Daniel "Ricky" (Maureen "Moe") Dalton of Mt. Gilead ; sister, Darcel Galliher of Mansfield; half sister, Robin; nephew, Larry Pennywitt of Mansfield; and a host of other nieces and nephews, aunts, and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister-in-law, Ann Dalton, and brother-in-law, Mike Galliher.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 8, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Diamond St. Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield, conducted by Rev. Glenn Phillips. Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery.
