Martha Ann Price, 65, of Columbus, Ohio, formerly of Mansfield, died Tuesday, January 18, 2011, at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Born October 16, 1945, in Boomer, WV, she was the daughter of Albert Richmond and Mammie Hinkle Grose. She had worked for the Ohio Department of Public Safety retiring in 2010 and enjoyed watching soap operas.
Surviving are a brother, Melvin Grose, Sr. of Suracuse, NY; a sister, Marilyn Painter of Maryland; three nieces and one nephew; and several aunts, uncles and cousins in West Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A gathering for family and friends will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 23, 2011, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield. Burial will be in London, WV at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
