

Marvin enjoyed working as a truck driver for several years. He loved motorcycle racing with his family and friends, Trevor Hawk, Troy and Abby Schlereth, Ryan Rhuele and Larry McGuire. Marvin enjoyed working on motorcycles and cars. He especially enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with his friends, Frankie and Ronald Hager.
He is survived by two children, Marvin "Meathead" (Amber) Ramsey, Jr., and Kristina "Twiggy" Ramsey (David Swimm); six grandchildren, Cullen, Owen, Jaelyne, Taylor, Taylinn, and Jordan; great-granddaughter, Raelynn; three sisters, Tonya Ramsey, Cora (Greg) Carter and Lou Lou; a brother, Jimmie David Ramsey; and several half brothers and sisters. He is also survived by his former wife, Sheila Ramsey; several former brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; former mother-in-law, Donna Hoffman; Payton, who held a special place in his heart; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Evelyn (Holdren) Ramsey and former father-in-law, George Hoffman.
Friends may call from 5:00 -8:00 p.m. Friday, May 12, 2017 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 South Diamond Street, Mansfield. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 13, 2017 at the funeral home conducted by Rev. Joe Stafford. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery.
