Mary Goins

Mary Lou Goins, 69, of Crestline, died Tuesday, July 09, 2002 at MedCentral Mansfield after an extended illness. Mrs. Goins was born December 17, 1932 in Galion, Ohio and spent her entire life in the area. She retired from Galion Community Hospital after 23 years of service as a S.P.D. Technician. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Crestline.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Theresa and Fredric LaFontaine of Los Angeles, California and Barbara and Steve Rapacioli of Carmel, New York; one son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Stacey Hanlon of Post Falls, Idaho; five grandchildren, Eric, Valarie, Elisa, Nicholas, and Alicia; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, DeMarcus Gates of Perrysburg, Ohio and Stanley Gates of Marion, Ohio; a sister, Myrtle Gaverick of St. Petersburg, Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, DeMarcus and Leona Neff Gates and a sister, Beverly Tracht.

Friends may call one hour prior to memorial services to be held at Grace Baptist Church in Crestline, Thursday, July 11 at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Gerald T. McCabe will conduct services. Burial will follow in Crawford County Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made in care of the church.
