

Born April 7, 1922 in Washington, DC she was the daughter of Samuel S. and Harriet (Long) Everett. She was a member of Mayflower Congregational Church and retired from Ryan & Cole where she was a legal secretary for Attorney Eugene Ryan. She enjoyed knitting and attending to her flowers but her greatest joy was her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons, Joe (Connie) Pearce of Mansfield and Russ (Mary) Pearce of Gainesville, VA; a daughter, Patricia Pearce of Cape Cod, MA; eight grandchildren, Bret (Michelle) Pearce, Bridget Pearce, Brad Pearce, Ronald (Bettina Stevens) Cervasio, Erika (Stephen Dyer) Cervasio, James (Linda Jewell) Pearce, Bryan (Melissa) Pearce-Gonzales and Melissa (Bruce) Gordon; 12 great grandchildren, Austin and Garret Pearce, Isabelle and Matthew Cervasio-Dyer, Mack Cervasio, Ashley Pearce, Avery and Addison Jewell-Pearce, Caitlin Varela, Jack and Sofia Pearce-Gonzales and Reagan Gordon; and a brother, Richard (Mary) Everett of Maryland. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Joseph Pearce; a brother, Stan Everett; and a sister, Bobbe Craft.
Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, June 10, 2012 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 11, 2012 at Mayflower Congregational Church conducted by Dr. Gary Wilson. Burial will follow in Windsor Park Cemetery.
