

Mary retired from Therm-O-Disc and was an accomplished seamstress and tailor, previously working for Golden Russell, Robert Hall and Goldsmith’s. She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church. An accomplished artist, she enjoyed painting and drawing. In her spare time, she could be found gardening, sewing or, in her younger years, playing the accordion. Her favorite activities were traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Walters (Ben) Daugherty of Mansfield and Anne Walters Sundra of Sagamore Hills; four grandchildren, Laurie Lowe (Eric) Winbigler, Katie Sundra of Fairview Park, Erin Sundra of Lakewood and Melissa Daugherty of Mansfield; and one great-grandson, Hunter Bullis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Jason Lowe.
Friends may visit from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield where a Vigil Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Mansfield Catholic Cemetery.
