Melvin "Bud" Lee Schuck

Bud graduated from Black River High School in 1969. He served in the US Navy from 1969-1972 as an electrician/mechanic. He played basketball for the Navy. Bud served as a Medina County Sheriff Deputy and as a detective. He graduated from the National FBI Academy in 1989 and was a training officer at North Coast Correctional Facility. Bud was an avid golfer in his free time.

He is survived by his daughters, Katie Schuck (David Dolin) of Las Vegas, NV and Steffanie (Jason) Seip of Elyria, OH; siblings, Larry (Mary) Schuck of Mansfield, Chris (Gary) Wilhelmy of Wooster, OH, Pam Voigt of Orlando, FL, and Cathy (Joe) Anderson of Edgewater, FL. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Mariah Schuck, Malyiah Schuck, Quintin Dolin, Drake Dolin, Jase Seip; step grandsons, Jason Seip and Aiden Seip; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Alice Voigt and a sister, Luanne Thomas.

Honoring Bud's wishes, he will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at First Baptist Church, 302 W. Main St., Spencer, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help defray funeral costs.
