

Michael T. "Hogi" Hogle II, 49, of Mansfield, passed away at his home on Wednesday, December 4, 2019. Michael was born on June 27, 1970 in Middleton, Michigan. He was the son of Michael and Sandy (Powers) Hogle I.
Michael moved to Ohio in June of 1990, but made many visits back to Michigan to visit family. Michael was an interior painter, employed at Hogle and Hogle Painting. A big heart, Michael had a love for everyone and was always making new friends every where he went. He had a passion for mustangs and muscle cars, well anything that had a motor really, especially his 1989 Mustang GT that was featured on posters and calendars. He loved using his skills as a mechanic as this brought joy to his life. In his spare time, he enjoyed shooting, cooking, grilling and Star Wars.
Michael leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 23 years, Trudy (Schaffer) Hogle; his parents who reside in Rainbow Lake, Michigan; his grandmother, Vivian "Dawn" Powers of Michigan; his daughters, Alexis Hogle and Alysha (Jerimiah) Cutlip both of Mansfield; his son, Shane Hogle of Mansfield; his grandchildren, Waylen Cutlip and Jillian Hinkle; his brother, Robert "Robbie" (Rachel) Hogle of Columbus; his sister, Gabriella "Gidget" (Steve) Dicenzo of Columbus; numerous nieces and nephews; and many good friends, Deano, Wade, Mike "Kentucky", Shane, Little Chris, J.B., and Johnny. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jean (Bob) Hogle and Ted Powers; and his close aunts, Cindy, Vickki, and Vanessa.
Family and friends may visit from 5:00-8:00 pm on Friday, December 13, 2019 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street.
