Michael McDaniel

Michael Shane McDaniel 'Moose', 22, died Tuesday, June 15, 2004 outside of Dearborn, Michigan. He was born December 27, 1981 in Mansfield to Leo McDaniel and Diane Day. Michael has lived in Mansfield all his life and was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 190. He loved to go hunting and fishing with his father and brother Matt. Michael was always happy and enjoyed spending time with his friends.

He is survived by his mother, Diane Day of New Hudson, Michigan; his father and his wife, Leo Mike and Tina McDaniel of Mansfield; a brother, Matt McDaniel of Mansfield; two sisters, Brandi and Montana Kirkpatrick of Mansfield; maternal grandmother, Jean Day of Lexington; three aunts, Lou Ann Fulk, Rachel Craft, and Linda Kiser all of Mansfield; seven cousins and their spouses, Darcie and Brent Broom, Jamie Day, Jason Day, Gary Craft, Jr., Jerimiah and Gina Craft, April and Kurt Wright all of Mansfield and Tammy Jo and Kevin Harsh of Tennessee; and a friend, Ronnie Owens of Mansfield. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Walter and Vivian McDaniel; and maternal grandfather, James Day.

Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Friday, June 18, 2004 from 5-9 p.m. Funeral services conducted by Pastor James Winkler, will held at the funeral home Saturday, June 19, 2004 at 1 p.m. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery.
