
Miriam N. Wolfe Jasinski, 84, of Mansfield, died Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Born April 6, 1922 in Adario, she was the daughter of Burnace and Edith Crawford Wolfe. She worked as a designer for Stuhldreher Florist. Mrs. Jasinski was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church since 1978. She had also been a member of AA since 1975. Mrs. Jasinski enjoyed crossword puzzles, attending church, and attending AA meetings with her many friends.
She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Loretta Kvochick, of Lexington, and Norma Jasinski of Mansfield; five nieces, Judith and her husband Dave Perkins of Mansfield, Sandy Jarrell of Zephyr Hills, Florida, Barbara and her husband, Don Atkin of Matthew, N.C., Janet and her husband, Glenn Blaha of Central Point, Oregon, Gloria and her husband, Ed Morrison of Painted Post, New York; four nephews, Jere Shanks of Mansfield, Duane and his wife, Ortense Fay of California, Gary Fay of Columbus, Ken and his wife, Susan Wolfe of Warren, Pennsylvania; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul J. Jasinski; her parents; two sisters, Beulah Fay, and LaDonna Shanks; brother, Kenneth Wolfe; brother-in-law, Bernie Jasinski; sisters-in-law, Frances Shoup, Mary Schadek, and Martha Plew; and a niece, Sylvia Weber.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 4, 2006 at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church conducted by Rev. Marilou Brook. Friends may call one hour prior to the service, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., at the church. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Matthew's Lutheran Church or a charity of the donor's choice. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors assisted the family with arrangements.
