Nellie Price

Nellie May Price of Mansfield died Wednesday, July 15, 2009, at Galion Community Hospital. Born April 30, 1932, in Ashland, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Adrian A. and Vada Vinson Flocker. She was formerly employed as a cook with Mansfield City Schools. Nellie was a loving and kind matriarch to her family, imparting her wisdom for all to benefit. To her family, she will always be remembered as having the face of an angel, touch of a saint and warmth of her family's heart. Nellie enjoyed crochet, crafts and spending time with her beloved dog, Princess.

She is survived by her children, Delores deChant, Charles Sheila Price, all of Mansfield, Vada Price of Galion, Barbara Johny McClurg and Carla Harlan Brown, all of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren, Greg Price, Tabatha Reiner, Nathan McClurg, Jessika Price and Andrew Price, all of Mansfield and Brandy Josh Bierce of Greenwich; great-grandchildren, Megan and Tyler Price, Cheyenne, Jasmine and Meckenize Reiner, all of Mansfield, Chance and Cody McClurg of Ashland and Minna Edwards of Greenwich; and one great-great grandchild, Olivia Price of Mansfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Elwood Price, granddaughters, Nellie May Price and baby deChant and grandson, J.T. Price.

Graveside services will be held Monday, July 20, 2009, at 12:00 p.m. in Mansfield Cemetery. Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family of Mrs. Price.
