Patricia Brook

Patricia Jean Brook, 75, of Mansfield, died October 10, 2015. Born February 17, 1940, she was the daughter of Everett and Mary (McWilliams) Bachelder. Patricia graduated from Johnsville High School. She belonged to Mansfield Music Study Club and enjoyed cooking. An avid reader, Patricia read an average of ten books a week! She had an infectious smile that everyone loved. Patricia was a member of Southwood Baptist Church. More than anything, Patricia loved her grandchildren and she was very supportive of their music and dance.

Surviving are her children, Clark Kevin Brook of Vail, Colorado and Halle Piper Brook of Galion; grandchildren, Daniel DeLuca of Athens, and Piper Brook, Teddy Brook, and Paige Brook, all of Galion; sisters, Christine Jurkuta of Florida and Shirley Bertucci of Florida; brother, Eugene Bachelder of Louisiana; aunt, Jean Reinhardt of Mt. Gilead; and best friend, Saudra Painter of California.

Along with her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Clark William Brook, who passed away January 14, 2015 and brother, Gary Bachelder.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, October 16, 2015 from 5-7 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington Springmill Road, Ontario. A celebration of the lives of Patricia and her husband, Clark, will take place at 7:00 p.m. A private burial will be held in Bryn Zion Cemetery at a later date.
