

Patricia Howell Fraley, 75, of Mansfield passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. Patricia was born on March 4, 1943 in Mansfield, Ohio. She was the beloved daughter of Leonard Howell and Dean and Doris (Lindenbolt) Hess.
Patricia was an outgoing, positive, optimistic, strong woman. Through all the adversity she faced in her life, she never let it break her spirit as she experienced the valleys over the peaks. She was a people person, never meeting a stranger and lived her life with guiding principles of treating others how you wish to be treated. Patricia was a devoted mother and loving grandmother. She was a memorable figure of Harwood Apartments, where she raised her children. The neighborhood children knew they were always welcome at her home. Her favorite job in life was being a mother, prior to that she was employed at Martin Hardware and South Side Market in Crestline. Patricia was a former member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
Patricia leaves behind her children, Rebecca (Thomas) Pore, Connie (Matthew) Fitzpatrick, and John (Traci) Fraley; grandchildren, Amber Fraley, Chelsea (Matt) Watts, Shelby (Nathan) Conley, Katherine (Levi) Massie, Samual (Sarah) Fitzpatrick, Alexandra Fitzpatrick and Savannah Polkinghorn; great-grandchildren, Bobby, Raelynn, Bayah, Gillian, Liam, Matty, Brexytn and Emmett. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gerald Howell; and sister, Barbara Manley.
The family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 pm on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street. Rev. Christopher Thomas will officiate the funeral service on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 1:30 pm at the funeral home. Patricia will be laid to rest at Mansfield Memorial Park.
