
Patricia McMahon, 78, of Mansfield, died Thursday, January 24, 2008 at her home. Born March 17, 1929 in Liverpool, England, she was the daughter of Daniel and Rose AnnMcDonough McCowan. A war bride, Patricia married Francis J. McMahon on January 19, 1946 in Liverpool, England. Patricia retired from Mansfield General Hospital. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church. She was a 20 year volunteer at Kingwood Center. Patricia was a member of the Ontario Friends and Neighbors, past president of the Agnes Paulson Garden Society, and the American Legion #535 Auxiliary.
She is survived by her children, Patrick Cindi McMahon of Charlotte, North Carolina, Kevin Diane McMahon, and Danae McMahon, all of Mansfield; grandchildren, Carrie Dwayne, Brian Jennifer, Cristin, and James Krisya; great-grandchildren, Brandon, Conner, and MacKenzie; numerous nieces and nephews in England; and special niece and nephew, Patricia and Peter Bleasdale. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Francis J. McMahon on Thanksgiving Day 2007; parents; four brothers; and three sisters.
Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, January 27, 2008 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Friends may also call from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home where services will be held at 11 a.m. conducted by Rev. David S. Sipes and Father Joe Ashby. A memorial service and burial will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Kingwood Center, or MedCentral Hospice Home Health Care.
