Patricia Jane Weidner, 92, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2025. Born on July 2, 1932, to Joseph A. and June J. (Javetta) Etzwiler in Mansfield, Ohio, Patricia lived a life filled with music, faith, and love for her family.
A gifted musician and accomplished pianist, Patricia was also a professional singer and performed in a quartet that appeared on the nationally televised Mike Douglas Show. She shared her kindness and warmth with all who knew her.
She retired from Thermo-Disc, where she worked diligently and made lasting friendships. Patricia loved to travel, especially with her beloved husband, Robert. Together, they cherished their spring visits to Florida and created a lifetime of memories.
Patricia is survived by her sons, Mike (Annette) Gerhart, Scott (Julie) Gerhart, and Tracy (Sherry) Gerhart; stepsons, David (Jill deceased) Weidner and Gary Weidner; grandchildren, Dustin (Tara) Gerhart, Eric Gerhart, Max Gerhart, Keah Sosa, and Lauren (Cameron Madden) Gerhart; two great-grandchildren; and many dear family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Weidner; her first husband, William Gerhart; her parents; her son, Douglas Gerhart; two brothers; and a sister.
A private burial will be held at Mansfield Cemetery. Wappner Funeral Directors-Mansfield is honored to serve the family.
