Pauline E. Zimmerman, 92, of Galion, died early Saturday morning, October 15, 2005, at Rosewood Manor in Galion. Born December 23, 1912, in Richland County, she was the daughter of Dale and Esther Spice Letts. Mrs. Zimmerman was an area homemaker her entire life who dearly loved her family. She also enjoyed cooking, baking and tending to her flowers.
She is survived by a daughter, Joan M. Shade of Galion; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Harvey Letts and Edgar Bert Letts, all of Mansfield; a daughter-in-law, Faye Zimmerman; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Russell R. Zimmerman in 1991, and son, Edward Zimmerman.
Friends may call Monday, October 17 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Jim Davis. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
