Peter Clinton "Clint" Frampton, 53, passed away Monday evening, February 7, 2011 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital after a brief illness. Born March 24, 1957 in Columbus, Ohio, he is the son of Nancy C. Case and Duward B. Frampton. Clint was an accomplished carpenter and owner of Frampton Building and Remodeling, building his business by word of mouth for 20 plus years. A wonderful conversationalist, Clint had a way of putting everyone at ease and was a very good role model to those around him. He was a faithful member of Diamond Hill Cathedral where he volunteered his time in many ways: helping with church meals and plays and running the AV equipment each Sunday. He was a strong man who tended to be a perfectionist but was a big kid at heart. Clint enjoyed sharing his culinary talents, hosting many people at his home for dinner and had recently won the Chili Cook-off at church this past fall.
He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Charlene Bruner Frampton; four daughters, Sarah Joshua Crego of Jacksonville, NC, Rebecca Jeremiah Lively of Mansfield; Becky Andy Billheimer and Sierra Frampton of Shelby; two sons, Sam Boor of Mansfield and Logan Frampton of Shelby; four grandchildren, Dalton, Adison and Hannah Billheimer and Ava Lively; two sisters, Tracy Hunter Williams of MD and Elizabeth John Wild of FL; a brother, Bob Kim Frampton of LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and wonderful friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Debbie Frampton Miller; and his faithful canine companion, Melvin.
A memorial service celebrating Clint's life will be held Friday, February 11, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Diamond Hill Cathedral with the ministers of the church officiating. Friends may visit at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Diamond Hill Cathedral, 500 Tingley Avenue, Mansfield, Ohio 44905. Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to assist the family of Mr. Frampton with arrangements.
