

Philip "Ross" Carver now walks the golden streets of Heaven. Ross suffered many years with multiple sclerosis. Before the MS took its toll on his health, he worked at Shiloh Tool and Die for 28 years. Ross also enjoyed hunting, fishing and Bingo with his brother and mother.
Ross was born to Alvin and Delores (Carrington) Carver in Mansfield on April 5, 1954.
He is survived by three sons, Philip Carver of Canal Winchester, OH, James Carver of Mansfield and Joseph Carver of Mansfield; his father, Alvin Carver; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; three brothers, Thomas Carver of Shelby, Paul (JoAnn) Valgas of Mansfield and Ronald Valgas of Inverness, Florida; two sisters, Janet (David) Yockey of Lexington, OH and Margie (Bill) Mills of Inverness, Florida; half sister, Joyce Harding of Cleveland; numerous nieces and nephews; and good friend, Buford Morris.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Delores Dilgard; sister-in-law, Lois Carver, special aunt, Patricia Allen; and step mother, Helen.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 7, 2016 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road, Ontario conducted by Rev. Bruce Copley. Friends may call one hour prior to the service, from 10:00-11:00 a.m., at the funeral home on Thursday. Burial will Oak Grove Memorial Park at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Hanna Road Faith Chapel.
