Philip J. Kirsh, 52, of Mansfield, died Thursday, May 6, 2004 at his residence following a brief illness. He was born May 6, 1952 in Mansfield, the son of Harold Eugene and Barbara Mae Shilliday Kirsh.
He was employed by Cooper Enterprises and had previously worked for Mansfield Tire and White Westinghouse. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, HOG and had a love for motorcycles. Philip was a member of the Air National Guard.
Surviving are his mother and step father, Barbara and Calvin Holtkamp of Mansfield; sister and brother-in-law, Linda Kirsh and Dick Stewart of Mansfield; a nephew, Larry Stewart; great niece and nephew, Emily and Trevor Stewart; uncle, Lee and Reta Kirsh of Mansfield; two aunts, Patsy Shilliday of Waterloo, Illinois and Norma Shilliday of Columbus; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Kirsh; and two uncles, Dr. Richard Shilliday and Dr. Douglas Shilliday.
Per his request, there will be no services or calling hours at this time.
The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors assisted the family with arrangements.
