Rachel Marie Hager, 26, of Mansfield, died Sunday evening, June 24, 2007 at OSU Medical Center after an extended illness. Born October 19, 1980, in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Ronald and Sherri Bell Hager. Rachel attended Crestview High School and Pioneer Career and Technology Center. Blessed with a quick wit, she enjoyed reading and drawing. She loved her family and had been a 'Daddy's girl'.
She leaves behind her greatest love, her daughter, Kaytee Marie McCumbers. She is also survived by her mother, Sherri Hager of Mansfield; brother, Brien Kim Hager of Mansfield; grandparents, Barbara Bell of Mansfield, Frank Jewell Hager of Athens, Ohio, Robert Debra Bell of Mansfield; two uncles, Chris Bell of Troy, Ohio and Jeff Bell of Anthony, Florida; aunt, Dawn Larry Baker of Virginia; and best friend, Emily Davis of Ashland. Preceding her in death were her daughter, Cody Rae McCumbers, father, Ronald Hager and uncle, Danny Hager.
Funeral services will be Thursday, June 28 at 1:00 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12-1 p.m. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
