

Ralph C. Clark, 78, died Sunday, May 26, 2013. Born October 8, 1934 in Jeromesville he was the son of Thomas and Leah (Metcalf) Clark. On February 15, 1958, he married the love of his life, Mary Louise (Moore) Clark who was born January 17, 1937 to Samuel and Marian (Gallagher) Moore.
Mary died on March 27, 1994 at the age of 57. She retired from Abbott Laboratories in October 1993 after 25 years of service. Her husband Ralph worked 36 years in the shipping department of Faultless Rubber – Abbot Laboratories retiring in 1988. Together, they were both lifelong Ashland residents.
Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Valerie (Mark) Wondrash and Susan Franks; one son and daughter-in-law, Scott (Sharon) Clark; six grandchildren, Angela Fulk, Jennifer (Steve) Isenhart, Rebekah (Josh) Ellwitz, Darlene (Josh) Bland, Brittany (Justin) Skok and Bree Riffle; seven great grandchildren; one sister, Maxine Fulton; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to their parents, they were preceded in death by brothers, sisters and in laws.
A Gathering for family and friends will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2013 at the Ashland Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 308 Claremont Avenue, Ashland. Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Chestnut Grove Cemetery conducted by Rev. Deb Speer. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hayesville-Vermillion Fire Department.
