

Ray Coleman Sr., 65, of Mansfield, died February 4, 2015. Born August 18, 1949 in Louisa, KY, he was the son of Hansel and Melvina (Cyrus) Coleman. An Army Veteran, Ray served four years and was stationed in El Paso, TX, where he worked as a medic. Ray worked at B Mo Brass Company, Ohio Brass Company, and at the Mansfield Reformatory. He also owned Aquarius Floor Systems, a floor cleaning business. In his free time, Ray enjoyed cooking, playing the lottery, and attending flea markets and garage sales. He loved to play horseshoes and softball and to watch NASCAR and wresting. Always pushing his grandchildren to do their best, he loved to watch his granddaughters show their horses at the fair and other local competitions. He also supported his granddaughter in all of her baking talents.
Surviving are his children, Ray (Jana) Coleman Jr., Jeffrey Alan (Carrie) Coleman, Veronica (Terry) Miller, and Tonya (Richard) Trujillo; sixteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; siblings, Melvin (Sherry) Coleman, Dreama Coleman, Shannon (Tammy) Coleman, Brian Coleman, and Rodney David (Cindy) Coleman; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; special friends, Clifford Boggs and Butch and Tammy Mitchell; and step-father, Jesse Wilson.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold Coleman and Arnold Lee Coleman.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday, February 8, 2015 from 2-5 p.m. at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 9, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home, conducted by Pastor Troy Wooten. Burial will take place in Cyrus Cemetery in West Virginia at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
