Rita Creamer

Rita M. Sheedy Creamer, 84, of Mansfield died Friday evening, March 28, 2003 at her home after an extended illness. Mrs. Creamer was born November 9, 1918 in Mansfield to the late Marie Sheedy and was an area resident all her life. She retired from the Ohio State Employment Bureau in 1981 where she worked as a supervisor. Her nickname with her co-workers was 'Sparkle Plenty'. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. Rita was a very caring and loving person. She always had a smile and looked after the welfare of others. Rita has gone home to be with the Lord in Heaven.

Rita is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Peter William Creamer III of Lansdale, Pennsylvania, Hugh Patrick and Suzanne Creamer of Hubertus, Wisconsin, Dennis Thomas and Rebecca Creamer of Mansfield; a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Michael Moyer of Crestline, Ohio; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and special caregiver, Kathy McDonald. She was preceded in death by her mother, Marie Sheedy Fox; husband, Peter William Creamer II in 1994; and a daughter-in-law, Joette Creamer.

Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Monday, March 31 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rehab Center of North Central Ohio.
