Robert Eugene "Bobby" Boyle, 59, of Mansfield, died Friday, February 1, 2008, at MedCentral Mansfield. Born November 7, 1948, in Mansfield, he was the son of Eugene and Elsie Wagenhals Boyle. He was employed at Advantage Motors and had a love for motorcycles, hunting and the outdoors. A member of the Marion Avenue Grace Brethren Church, he loved the Lord and sharing the gospel with others.
Surviving are his wife of 31 years, Marcy Hall Boyle; a son, Alex Chris Boyle of Mansfield; a grandson, Trever Bryce Boyle; two brothers, George Boyle of Cinnamon Lake and Donald Carrie Boyle of Mansfield; and a sister, Anita Ingram of Mansfield. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, February 4, 2008, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Marion Avenue Grace Brethren Church, with visitation one hour prior to the service, conducted by Pastor Sonny Thayer. Full military services will be held following the service at the church by the Richland County Joint Veterans Burial Detail. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
