Robert J. Henry, 54, of Bucyrus died Friday, May 17, 2002 at 2:20 a.m. at Bucyrus Community Hospital after an extended illness. Mr. Henry was born August 1, 1947 in Ironton, Ohio to John C. and Audrey Abrams Henry. He was a Military Policeman with the US Army stationed in the United States.
He is survived by two sons, John Henry and Ryan Henry of Bucyrus, Ohio; one brother, Curtis Henry of Marion, Ohio; four sisters and their spouses, Betty Steele of Marion, Ohio, Ann and Charles Heimlich of Galion, Ohio, Ada Nancy Bullion of Mt. Gilead, Ohio, and Patricia and John Nunn of Bucyrus, Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews; the mother of his children, Carol Grogg Henry of Marion, Ohio; and two special friends, Bob Hammond and Bill Steele. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Raymond and John Henry, one sister, Dellamae Henry, and his loved one, Peggy Ball.
The family will hold a memorial service at 32 Lutz Drive, Bucyrus, Ohio, Wednesday, May 22 at 1:00 p.m. Wappner Funeral Directors assisted the family with arrangements.
